THE BREWERS...

Brewmaster: Tim Etter - In early 1993, during his college days at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, his roommate introduced him to the art of making beer. From a hobby in the tiny apartment, a full time career started to blossom. Attendance at UC Davis in Northern California studying Fermentation Science was next, then back to Salt Lake City to work with a new start-up: Uinta Brewing Company. The concept there was to brew the freshest beer available in Utah, while limiting the alcohol percentage to 3.2 by weight (4% by volume). After tremendous success, it was time to break away and create Teneya Creek Brewery.

Brewmaster: Anthony Gibson - Started his professional brewing career with Tim at the Tenaya Creek Brewery and worked under him for 2 1/2 years. An opportunity to become the Assistant Brewer at the Brew Pub inside the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino was the next move. In July of 2002, he was promoted  to Brewmaster, the postion he held until the brewery closed in December, 2006. Returned to Tenaya Creek Brewery to take the reigns as Head Brewer.

ATMOSPHERE...

Tenaya Creek is a custom designed building that originally opened as a brewery and upscale restaurant. In June of 2008 the food service was discontinued to focus on brewing and distribution. Currently, the remaining bar and seating area is a mid-sized, comfortable  place to enjoy the wide selection of Tenaya Creek beers. A circular bar layout features the display of a variety of fine spirits. There are standard poker machines on the bar and pool tables in the adjacent room, which also features dart boards and video games for 24/7 fun! A banquet space is available which is also the location for beer tapping and tasting events. Additionally, the beautiful exterior patio easily accommodates 20 - 25 guests  for year-round enjoyment.
