HISTORY... Ruby Mountain Brewing Company is located on Angel Creek ranch in Clover Valley, at the base of the East Humbolt range of Nevada's Ruby Mountains. Established in 1994, Ruby Mountain Brewing is Nevada's only microbrewery brewing and packaging beer for off premise sale in kegs, bottles and party pigs. Our award winning beers are available in 12 oz. bottles and on draft in Northern Nevada and Southern Idaho.
The brewery's unique location on a working ranch came about as the result of owners Steve and Maggie Safford's quest to diversify their ranch economy. Long time producers of top quality horse hay, and prime Black Angus cattle, they decided that beer, beef and bales might be a more interesting product mix for the ranch. Based on recipes perfected during 25 years of homebrewing, Steve's favorites taste as good brewed in the new 10 barrel stainless brewhouse as they did brewed in 5 gallon batches in the ranchhouse. Still brewed with only the finest malted grains, choicest hops, yeast, and pure Ruby Mountain water, we are proud to offer these beers to an appreciative public.

BEERS ON TAP... Angel Creek Amber Ale is reddish copper in color, brewed with a blend of Pale, Crystal and Munich malts. The slightly sweet, roasted flavor of the malts is balanced with ample additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, producing a classic American style Amber Ale.
Wild West Hefeweizen is a blend of the finest malted wheat, Pale and Munich malts, which gives this unfiltered Hefeweizen style Wheat Ale it's Golden color and signature flavor. German Weinstephen Weissen yeast contributes the fruity and spicy flavors found in this true Bavarian style Hefeweizen.
Bristlecone Brown Porter has five different types of Malt. Low hopping rates help accentuate the roasty, chocolatey malt character of this very drinkable Brown Porter.
Vienna Style Lager is a lighter version of the classic celebration beers known as Marzen and Octoberfest. This beer has a nice toasted malt character and a slight amber color. High quality "Noble" hops add classic hop flavor add aroma without the bitterness. Smooth and refreshing, this Vienna Lager is a great change of pace in the classic European Style.
